Sergeant Floyd Monument

Sergeant Charles Floyd was one of the first men to sign on to the Corps of Discovery. 35 men under the command of Lewis & Clark were sent by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the new land purchased from France. The Louisiana Purchase doubled the size of the newly formed United States of America.
