Mesa Verde NP

Cliff Palace is the largest ruin in Mesa Verde with over 150 rooms. It is thought to have over 300 residents at its peak. CP was constructed between 1,000-1200. It was abandoned around 1,300. Prolonged drought is thought to be the main reason.
